Mission Statement:
West Coast Cocker Spaniel Club, Inc. is dedicated to the interest in and
promotion of quality purebred COCKER SPANIELS. The objectives of this breed club is to do all possible to bring the
natural qualities of the cocker spaniel to perfection.
It urges members and breeders to accept the standard of the breed
as approved by the American Kennel Club as the only standard of excellence by which COCKER SPANIELS shall be judged.
WCCSC will do all in its power to protect and advance the interests
of the breed by encouraging sportsmanlike competition at dog shows, obedience trials, field trials, and agility trials.
WCCSC will conduct sanctioned matches and licensed specialty shows,
obedience trials, field trials, and agility trials under the rules of the American Kennel Club.
WCCSC is a member club of the American Spaniel
Club, Inc. and encourages adherence to the membership standards of the ASC.
